COURSE-WORK

Course Worksheets are completed after instruction.

The course work allows students to practice and solidify the concepts learned in class.

GRADING the Course-work:  10% of the grade

Students will use the detailed solutions manual to grade their own work. *Our grading system does work on an honor system as the solution PDF links are in the same place as the worksheets and videos.

Students are expected to correct any errors so that they understand why they missed a problem.

Students are expected to:

        • learn from their errors
        • correct their course-work
        • determine their correct percentage
        • enter their grade online

This system allows the student to truly master the material and learn from their mistakes.

Mr. D,

Elijah is just a freshman and got a 29 overall and a 26 in math on his ACT.

He's finishing up Mr D Algebra I and taking Mr D Geometry this summer with Mr H.

He also got into Eta Sigma Alpha The National Homeschool Honor Society, Omega Chapter, with these test scores so...THANK YOU x2!!!Best, Amber C

Hello Mr. H

I was in your Wednesday Algebra1 class this year. Thank you so much for being such an amazing teacher! Math use to be my least favorite subject, but now I actually enjoy math. Your classes were really fun and you explained everything really clearly. I really enjoyed having you as my teacher and I will be in your geometry class next year.

Have an awesome summer!

- Madeleine S

Hello Mrs. C This is Jeshua R. from your Algebra 1 class. I just wanted to say thank you for teaching me. Although you rarely saw my face because my camera was off, I often smiled during your class because of your positiveness, and how you always seemed joyful to teach us all. You are one of my favorite teachers I've had because of that.  This year with you as my teacher up to this point I have had the best math grades I've ever had, and I feel as though you had a great deal in my grades just by being positive and making math enjoyable for me. I also wanted to thank you for teaching us at our pace, always asking us how we were doing, and stopping for people, and explaining concepts to anyone who needed help. I am very glad that you were my math teacher this year, and I just felt the need to tell you how much I appreciated your teaching. Have a great Summer. Thank You, Mrs. C.

From, Jeshua
