What is MHAW?

  • Mental Health Action Week is a week of events every Spring dedicated to understanding, nurturing, and celebrating our mental health
  • We are an Ad-Hoc committee of Purdue Student Government (PSG)
  • This is Purdue’s 7th year doing MHAW
  • Our theme this year is BLOOM
    • You Belong.
    • You are Loved.
    • You have much to Offer.
    • You will Overcome.
    • You are Mindful.
    • BLOOM.

Advertising and Design: Lead by Mallory, this committee will…

  • Make social media posts for @purduemhaw on Instagram (go follow!!)
  • Create posters/flyers for
    • Big events
    • General MHAW advertising around campus
    • Calendar of events
    • TV graphics around campus
  • Design
    • Stickers
    • Pins
    • Tshirts

These tasks will give you great resume-building skills such as team collaboration, organizational design, and advertising/campaign development!

  • Distribute flyers on bulletin boards across campus
  • Handout bandanas on Bandana Pick-Up Day for clubs/orgs

Your club/organization is able to hold an event any of these days! These are just the big events for each day. All we ask is that your event is mental health/self-care related in some way :)

PSG Small Grants

We can help you with funding!

  • The PSG Small Grant is designed to provide financial support directly and quickly for events and club initiatives to registered Purdue Student Organizations.
  • The Small Grants Program will fund up to $500
    • No more than $200 for food/beverage
  • To apply:
