MARCH 2025

An annual event in March dating back to 2018 impacting over 100,000 learners to date, NJ STEM Month is a celebration co-hosted by the New Jersey STEM Pathways Network (NJSPN) and Research & Development Council of New Jersey (R&D Council of NJ).

NJ STEM Month highlights the Garden State’s incredible accomplishments in science, technology, engineering, math and innovation.

GRANTS FOR 2025

EMERGING & EXISITING ECOSYSTEMS GRANT

About the Grant:

    • The NJSPN seeks to support current ecosystems and up to three new ecosystems with between $10,000-$50,000
    • Competitive applicants will demonstrate the resources and design to engage with local and regional partners in education, business and industry, and STEM professions to create viable and sustainable STEM opportunities within their ecosystems.

Funds Can Support:

    • Development of leadership team
    • Creation of a ecosystem sustainability plan
    • Support of STEM programs
    • Maintaining overall ecosystem operations
    • Engagement with local and regional STEM partners
    • Measurement of STEM programs

*2025 application will launch in February*

    • Delran - $31,000
    • Green STREAM - $27,250
    • HSMC - $27,250

    • SJSIP - $27,250

INNOVATION FUND

About the Grant:

The New Jersey STEM Strategic Advisory Board (NJSSAB), will award grants of up to $20,000 to high-quality, innovative STEM education proposals. The purpose of the funding is to increase the access and exposure to STEM ("Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics") and to measure and improve STEM interest and learning outcomes for P-16 students.

Who Can Apply:

The NJSSAB invites proposals from New Jersey-based organizations such as New Jersey public P/K-12 school districts, Area Career and Technology Centers, higher education institutions, non-profits, and/or other entities who directly impact P-16 education.

    • Lower Cape May Regional High School (Greenhouse-based STEM Learning) - $20,000
    • Great Meadows Regional School District (STEM Enrichment Program)- $19,792.25
    • Hopeworks (Recode your Future) - $19,841.75
