In this context, health of a population is a barometer of the well-being of society.
We should call for a radical shift towards health promotion and well-being.
Other sectors should re-think their approaches and goals. Economic strategies should serve social and environmental goals and not the other way around.
The time for incremental change has passed!

A voice collected by the form that rewards our effort
“Thank you for a truly outstanding and inspiring conference. It has been a privilege to be part of a gathering that has brought together such a diverse and passionate community of researchers, practitioners, and knowledge holders. The organization, hosting, and atmosphere throughout the event have been exceptional, and it's clear how much thought and care has gone into the preparation.
Thank you also for the opportunity to contribute to the drafting of the final conference statement. I think the statement is well written and provides a strong reflection of the themes and commitments that have emerged over the course of the event. I especially appreciate the inclusion of equity and Indigenous knowledge systems as central to the future of health promotion.
Thank you again for the opportunity to attend and contribute to such a meaningful event. These suggestions are shared with deep respect and in the spirit of strengthening the important kōrero that the statement represents.”
