SCULPTRIS REFERENCE

Using Sculptris, sculpt a character from a reference image that you have selected.

Add as much detail as possible in order to replicate your reference!

  1. From Google images, find a reasonably detailed reference character you would like to replicate in sculptris and save it in your H: → picture folder.
  2. Using Sculptris, create the character you are replicating.

Sculpt symmetrical features first, asymmetrical features second, and then paint.

Remember to save several versions while you are working!

  • Once done, open photoshop and create a new document sized 1600 x 900 pixels.
  • Put your reference image to one side.
  • Using the snipping tool, take four different screenshots of your sculpture at different angles.
  • Place the four screenshots of your sculpture on the photoshop document.
  • Rename and hand in as a .jpg with the name “lastname, firstname- reference”
