Give students the opportunity to share a message in the announcements (i.e. “If you hear someone saying, ‘That’s so gay, tell them it's not okay’” or, “If you hear someone saying, ‘Girls can’t play soccer at recess or boys can’t wear pink’, tell them games, toys and colours are for everyone.”
