Entering Courses in Aeries

Step 1: Login to your aeries account. This must be your student account, not a parent account.

Tip - you can find the aeries portal login - in your saved bookmarks on your chromebook

Step 2: Change your student account from your elementary school to the high school

2nd: Click on your account that says Mountain house high school Pre-enrolled

Step 3: click on classes—->course request entry

Step 4: Search and add courses

Use the course number or course title to search for classes

Tips:

  • It’s best to use the course # to search.
  • Some titles are abbreviated - so if you are typing the full title, it may not come up.
  • If you are looking for an online class, you will select the class that has “oc” in the title.

Primary vs alternate

When you find the class you want to add, you will click on the hyperlink. A pop-up will display allowing you to select if you want this course as a primary or alternate.

Then click here 2nd to add course

Adding alternates

Click on manage next to the course you want to add an alternate. It is a good idea to add an alternate for all electives (i.e. language, pathways)

Adding alternates

Once your alternate is added correctly, you will see a 1 next to manage. Indicating you have 1 alternate for that course.

Once you have entered all of your courses and you have managed your alternates there is nothing further needed. There is no submit button
