How Do We Know What to Write Down?

    • Write the date and subject in the header
    • Do not use full sentences (use abbreviations and short phrases)
    • Write down everything the teacher writes on the board
    • Listen for key points/main ideas, dates, lists, formulas or themes
    • Write down whenever the teacher says “this is important’ or something similar
    • Make sure each class’ notes has a home (i.e. folder or specific location in binder)
