USE A PLANNER
Using a planner is a great way to keep track of due dates and assignments, helping you avoid the stress and bad grades that arise from poor planning. There are many options out there for planners, from daily to weekly to monthly, and physical to virtual. Try to find a planner that includes your daily schedule (times) so you can input synchronous classes.
SEPARATE SCHOOL WORK
Keep your schoolwork for each class in a separate notebook, folder, binder, or virtual location. For each class, choose a method of organizing your work within your chosen location- this could mean a different section for tests, exams, and assignments, or you can divide sections by unit/topic.
USE GOOGLE DRIVE
Google Drive is easily organizable and very user-friendly, allowing you to store any type of document in an online setting. This also makes it easy to share with others, as well as ensures you won't lose much of your work if your computer crashes. Keep your Drive organized with nested folders for every semester, class, and project.
KEEP YOUR WORKSPACE TIDY
Especially during these times when many students study and attend class remotely, it's important to have an organized workspace. Minimize the clutter around your desk. Try to keep your school materials and textbooks together and nearby your workspace for easy access.
DECIDE WHAT TO KEEP
At the end of each semester, decide what schoolwork, exams, and projects you want to keep physical copies of. Some of your future classes will rely on the knowledge you built in prerequisite courses. For other schoolwork, it is a better idea to discard it to make space for new materials.
