INTERVENTION

When students have not yet met the expectations of the grade level, we must explore all of the instructional possibilities in order to get students to achieve.

In Rush-Henrietta, a variety of opportunities are in place to support all students with their literacy needs. In some cases, classroom teachers will intervene within the classroom setting in a small targeted group and then will monitor for progress. In other cases, students will be a part of a more intensive reading or writing session with a specialist, where this teacher will closely diagnose, intervene, and measure progress.

A variety of research-based resources are used to promote a specialized intervention experience.
