💮 Facts about Ueno Park 💮
Ueno Park (上野公園, Ueno Kōen) is a spacious public park in the Ueno district of Taitō, Tokyo, Japan. The park was established in 1873 on lands formerly belonging to the temple of Kan'ei-ji. Amongst the country's first public parks, it was founded following the western example as part of the borrowing and assimilation of international practices that characterizes the early Meiji period. The home of a number of major museums, Ueno Park is also celebrated in spring for its cherry blossoms and hanami. In recent times the park and its attractions have drawn over ten million visitors a year, making it Japan's most popular city park. If your travels allow for only a brief stay in Japan, there would likely be no better place to check out than Ueno Park. This area offers a smorgasbord of attractions that allow visitors to sample many of the country’s unique charms within a single venue. Furthermore, there is an awesome bustling shopping bazaar to investigate called Ameya Yokocho which features the remnants of an ancient black market.
Lastly, if you like off-beat destinations, we also recommend that you take a look at nearby Yanaka. The area was one of only a few to survive the destructive ravages of World War II and therefore provides an authentic gateway into Tokyo’s historic and cultural past.

What makes Japan special / Why I would like to move to Japan / Why would someone want to go to Japan
The reason why Japan is special and why I want to move there is because of it’s beautiful culture. Japan has always had a reputation for its distinctive culture and unique traditions. As an island nation with a long history of isolation, many aspects of the culture developed completely unaffected by outside influences. But there are so many other reasons why Japan is the most unique country in the world.
Someone should visit Japan because of the incredible natural landscapes, the majestic temples, unique castles, the spectacular cherry blossom season, the exciting summer festivals, world class powder snow, the chance to bathe in a natural hot spring, the superb Japanese cuisine, and much more!
