OD certification 2021

Emarked on OD Certification program with Centre for Organization & Leadership Development (COLD).

Developed keen interest in Appreciative Inquiry and pursued it as a speciality.

Presented on AI to our cohort as part of class presentations

  • Post OD certification
  • Presented the AI concept in various forums with the aim of shifting people’s mindsets from deficit-based approaches to change management to strength-based approach ( Harare Institute of Technology (HIT), Forum for Provincial HR Practitioners.)
    • Presented at the 2024 OD Lab on AI and had meaningful conversations. (Outcome resulted in one attendee focusing on AI in PHD studies because of the impact of the presentation)
    • Contributed articles for the local news paper on AI theory as a strength-based approach and its application in various fields.
    • Presented AI on TEG on Wednesday, a webinar run by Talent Exchange Group (TEG) a fortnight program with OD practitioners around the world.
    • Presented AI on COLD cohorts as guest presenters.

    • Engaged and learnt from established AI practitioners Tanya Cruz and Stephen Read in South Africa, as well as Mercedes Martin of the Vuka collecting in USA.

Looking ahead

    • Launching AI certification program with inagural cohort commencing in June 2025 with 10 participants from Zimbabwe and the Africa.
    • Launching bespoke AI programs for Mashonaland Central District Councils to emberd AI in Council operations and fostering a leadership mind set shift towards strength-based approaches.
