What is Window Wanderland?

  • Window Wanderland is a festival taking place in windows across Shepton Mallet this February this year Make the Sunshine are partnering with the Snowdrop Festival and other Window Wanderland projects across the country
  • Window Wanderland is open to homes, businesses – anyone with a window!
  • Its free to take part and is about creating a magical trail across the town at night!

What kind of things go in windows?

  • It could be a black paper and tissue paper design – which looks a bit like stained glass
  • Or it could be an installation – some flying objects hung up!
  • Or your favourite toys lit up with fairy lights

Is there a theme?

  • The theme this year if you want to follow it is HOPE - it could be hope in nature, in kindness, in fun - but it’s very open.
  • It could be inspired by a book, film, game, or anything in your imagination!

How do I take part?

  • Search Window Wanderland Shepton Mallet online and follow the link to sign up (it’s on the flyers you will take home today)
  • It takes 2 mins and is free to register – you just type in and search your address and you will be on the map!

Come along to the library tomorrow 10am – 12pm to make some illuminated birds
