Manchester Memorial Elementary School Expansion Potential

  • PSR phase planned expansion intended for northwest part of site
  • Project progressed, flood plains and restrictions, approach revised
  • PreK reduced from 4 to 2 moved to northeast part of site
  • Potential expansion plans moved to northeast part of site
  • If facility needed to be expanded rely on reprogramming
  • Proposed expansion would be adding two classrooms at the northeast off the PreK wing and repurposed the two project rooms into general classrooms
  • Would provide 4 additional classrooms to the school

Manchester Memorial Elementary School Expansion Potential

    • If further expansion was needed, PreK program would need to be removed, PreK wing would become kindergarten, and existing k would become general classrooms
    • Would add 6 total classrooms to the school and account for 1 additional classroom per grade
    • Existing building foundations and structure not designed for an additional floor
    • Current Parking-80 regular spaces, 6 handicap
    • Current Pick up and drop off loop-40 cars to cue
