1750: England & France each control large areas of North America which bordered on each other for 1,000s of miles.
Both HATED the other & looked to take LAND from each other

The Albany Plan
England asked the colonies to fight as one unified army against the French & raise taxes to help pay for food & military supplies.
After declaring war on France in 1756, England called a meeting of all the colonies in Albany, NY,
to plan for the war.
The Colonies said, “Nahhh.”
