Wildlife Animals:

A wildlife animal is an animal that has not been domesticated. Wildlife animals include bears, deer, rabbits, squirrels, and many others.

Wildlife animals are free to roam the land, water, or air.

Wildlife animals live on their own. They must depend upon their own actions for survival. They must find their own food, water, and shelter.

Protection from predators and the elements is critical to the survival of wildlife animals.

Wildlife animals must compete to survive among many different species of animals.

Wild animals in zoos are not domesticated. They still retain much of their natural behavior.

What kind of wild animals do you see in your backyard or outside your home?
