Gmail Account

You can log into your HIDOE Gmail account from any internet connected device with a modern web browser.

Your HIDOE Gmail account’s email address is your ten digit HIDOE student ID followed by @k12.hi.us i.e. 1234567890@k12.hi.us�This is the email address you must use when logging into Gmail. Your Gmail account has an alias which is the letter “S” followed by our school number, “358”, followed by your first name, a period and your last name followed by @k12.hi.us i.e S358jane.doe@k12.hi.us�People can email you using your alias but you cannot use your alias to log into Gmail.

Open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Safari etc.) on an internet connected device, type gmail.com into the address bar and press enter on your keyboard.�This should take you to a sign in page. Type in your HIDOE email address and click next.

This should take you to HIDOE sign in page where you must enter your HIDOE gmail address again and click next.

The site will then prompt you to enter your password. Enter your password into the field and click Sign in.

The site will then prompt you for staying signed in. Choose Yes or No to continue.

If you are on a personal device you may choose Yes to not have to go through this process again.�If you are on a shared or public device choose No.

After clicking Yes or No, the next page will be your Gmail inbox.
