Explain

Putting it all together:

  • Create a song, using one of the music programs on slide 3 to use as background music for your poem
  • Use a split screen so you can see the words and the music at the same time.
  • Be sure to practice staying on beat, and any dance moves you’d like to add.

So many ways this HyperDoc can be edited, revised, and elevated!

Writing

  • Have students search and select their own poem rather than the ones listed.
  • Students can write their own poems to recite
  • Create a collection of poems that hold significant meaning to your students, your content, your objectives.

Music

  • Use another tool to create the melody such as Soundtrap or GarageBand.
  • Download and save the tune to incorporate later in a video editing tool.
  • Use real instruments, record and add to the video.
  • Accompany the reciting with live music

Video

  • Record video B-roll to upload to an editor like iMovie, WeVideo, Adobe Spark, or your favorite movie making tool.
  • Create animated version of the video using images to go along with the music and do a voiceover to record the poem.
  • Post videos in a clever way so many can view.

Just go to File>Make a copy> edit as you wish!
