Reminders:
Students are going to breakfast on their own starting today. Ms. Shae will be in the cafeteria to help. If you bring your child, please make sure they have enough time to eat and leave the cafeteria by 7:25. Thank you!
*Monday, September 8th from 5:00-7:00 - Grandparent’s game night. Come play some fun games with your grandchild and enjoy some delicious pizza.
*High attendance day is scheduled for Tuesday, September the 9th! Students may wear their pajamas and enjoy a movie at school! Each classroom with 100% attendance will receive a treat. Please help us win a prize!
*October 3-10th - Fall Break. No School!
*Kindergarten is creating a basket that will be part of the silent auction at the Fall Festival. We are asking for any items that would go with this theme: “Gobble Till You Wobble” -any junk food, chocolates or snack food to “gobble”. Please send in items as soon as possible. Thank you for helping us raise money for our school!
*Fall festival - October 17th. Food will be available at 4:30. Candidates will begin at 5:00 with a
silent auction starting immediately afterwards. Games will be open from 5:30-6:30.
Practice AT HOME
Math: Practice counting and correctly writing numerals up to 5.
Reading: Practice working with letters s and t. Listen for those sounds at the beginning and ending of simple words. Also practice telling the letter name and its sound.
Words: Practice reading the words the, I and green
Writing: Practice writing your first name correctly on the lines. Capitals should only be at the beginning.
