• Parent Action Council (PAC) serves as a welcoming community space for parents at all SLPS schools
• Contact PAC at parentactioncouncil@gmail.com to be added to our Google group
• Get to know the FCS at your student’s school to learn how to be involved in parent organization
• Reference communication flowchart on PAC Google site with questions or concerns

• Surveys closed on October 12 - thank you to all who participated!
• Process is on track to name a new Supt by February 2023
• Interim Superintendent named recently - Dr. Nicole Williams
• Board of Education Elections
• PAC sponsored candidate forum was held October 6; forum with students from CVPA was held October 18
• Watch both forum recordings on PAC Google site under “Meeting Minutes” (link in chat)
• Elections are November 8 - PLEASE vote!
• There are five candidates for two open seats

• SLPS Foundation balance $3,082.17 as of Sept. 30th, 2022.
• We received $131.25 from our JustGiving fundraising efforts
