MS Scholar & Tech Master

  • MS Scholars requires 80 hours of community service, 19 ACT or 36 ASVAB, 1 math above Alg II, 2.5 GPA, 95% attendance since 9th gr., Chemistry + 2 Sciences above Bio I, World Geo, and 2 Advanced Electives or 5th math/science or 2 DC/AP courses + core curriculum
  • Tech Master requires 4 CTE credits, Geometry, 2 Sciences above Bio I,80 community service, 19 ACT, + core curriculum
  • No scholarship money with these but tells employers/business leaders that you’ve done more than what is required.

  • Minimum of 19 ACT Composite Score
  • 2.5 cumulative high school GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • 95% school attendance during 4 years of high school (no more than 36 days total)
  • No out-of-school suspension
  • Curriculum Requirements:
    • 4 English credits
    • 4 Math credits ( Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, & a higher math are required)
    • 4 Science credits (Chemistry required)
    • 4 Social Studies credits (Geography required)
    • 2 Advanced Electives (2 yrs foreign language, 5th Math or Science, or 2 DC classes

MS TECH Scholars Requirements

  • 80 hours of community service
  • Minimum of 19 ACT Composite Score or 36 ASVAB Score, or Silver on WorkKeys
  • 2.5 cumulative high school GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • 95% school attendance during 4 years of high school (no more than 36 days total)
  • No out-of-school suspension
  • Earn an MDE approved Industry National Certification
  • Curriculum Requirements:
    • 4 English credits
    • 3 Math credits ( Algebra I, 1 math above Alg I, & Geometry are required)
    • 3 Science credits (Biology I & 2 courses above Bio I are required)
    • 3 Social Studies credits
    • 4 CCTI credits in the same area of study
