Activity One:

Role on the wall

With the character that you are portraying in the play that you are reading in your group, create a profile for that character.

Draw up an outline of a body

Inside the body outline, list down physical aspects of that character. For example, Billy is a 11 yr boy. Brown hair, Green eyes, Freckles, he’s 5 ft 7 Be as creative as you like!

Outside the body write down characteristics that you think your character does in the play. For example, likes playing rugby, owns a dog named Morty, can sing

Activity Two: Character Backstory

Write up a small dialogue for your character in a one minute scene set before the beginning of the play.

  • Use an ipad to film your scene to post up on your blog and write a small description of what happens in your scene.

Activity Three: What happened next?

  • Choose one of the following to complete
    • Create a scene after the play has ended. Structure it like the script in the text and then read it out with your group!
    • Create a comic strip of what happens next in the play
