It’s important that students feel safe and comfortable during their teletherapy sessions on campus so they can talk openly, freely, and confidentially with their therapist. Typically, there are unused spaces around campus that can be leveraged for this purpose.

Desk & Chair (~$75)�Dependent on the size and space available. A comfortable chair & desk setup is needed for sessions. A lot of schools have desks or chairs available that they can re-purpose for this space.
Bean Bag Chair (~$100)�If a larger room is available, a comfortable bean bag chair is nice to create an inviting atmosphere.
Rug (~$65)�If you have a large enough space, find a soft rug and add some bean bags for students to relax in.
Ambient Lighting (desk or floor light) ~$25�Focus on soft ambient lighting for the room.�Overhead fluorescents can cause headaches �and aggravate tension which may inhibit the session.
Other Decor (~$35)�Decor like plants, coloring books, and essential oil diffusers are helpful to reduce anxiety and support the energy of the room as students in engage in sessions.
Sound Machine x2 (~$40) �Add two small entry tables one outside the room and one inside the room, topped with a sound machine for privacy and confidentiality.
Noise Cancelling Headphones (~$20)�Provide noise canceling headphones for students to utilize during sessions. Purchase a few headphones and sanitize between sessions.
“In Session” sign (~$10)�Let other students and faculty know that a session is in progress and not to interrupt.
Sensory Items (~$30)�Sensory items, pens, markers, papers and tissues are all nice-to-have available for students during sessions.

Electronic Device (~$0)�Most schools have Chromebooks that they can dedicate for teletherapy sessions. Personal devices can also be used.
Daybreak will provide posters and flyers for the space with self-referral links and QR codes.
