Mission Statement:

  • The Maple Grove HS Girls Soccer Booster Club exists for the purpose of supporting its members, including all MGHS eligible players, their families, and coaches by:

    • Fundraising to support all teams within the program
    • Recruiting and encouraging parent volunteers to support various events and activities of the program
    • Promoting and encouraging family, student, parent/guardian support and good sportsmanship in all program activities and competitions
    • Maintaining fiduciary integrity for the best interest of the program for all levels

Total of approximately $39,000 to achieve our program goals in 2024 (full budget in appendix)

Fundraising Mission (the “why”)

    • The MGSH Girls Soccer Booster Club seeks to raise additional funds (over and above tryout and booster club fees collected at the start of the season) to offset expenses incurred at each team level over the course of a designated season.
    • In alignment with our updated goals (i.e., inclusion, communication, and transparency), the Booster Club also hopes to simplify fundraising, increase team involvement, and enable families to better plan

2024 Fundraising

Fundraising Asks per Player and Player Family:

    • Concessions – our most important fundraising event! Each player and parent asked to cover 3 shifts throughout the season (FB & Boys Soccer)

    • Each player/family will need to fundraise a min $200 above Booster Club fees
        • NO MORE SNAP Raise – We listened to your feedback!
        • Ideas in the works: Pancake Breakfast and raffle event OR Golden Cup Ticket Fundraiser, Cub Bagging.

Note: Final plans for the main fundraisers will be completed in the next month and communicated to membership
