MOVEMENT
is the path the viewer’s eye takes through the work of art, often to focal areas. Such movement can be directed along lines, edges, shape, and color within the work of art.
Kinetic art sculptures involve ACTUAL movement in a work of art.
Proportion/Scale
is the size relationship of parts to a whole and to one another.
Scale refers to relating size to a constant (such as the human body).

Repeating unit of shape or form
Unity (harmony) gives the artwork a sense of cohesion.
It is the wholeness or completeness of a picture.
Unity and harmony in art are used by artists to tie a composition together.

Alignment
