Vocabulary Definition

Penguins have flippers instead of wings.

5. pecks
A quick, light touch or kiss, often used to describe when someone gives a small kiss on the cheek or lips
A chick pecks its way out of the egg.

To smooth or clean something, like a bird using its beak to clean its feathers
Birds pren to keep their feathers neat.

Something is very cold and has turned into ice
The ground is frozen and too hard to dig.

To complete something or bring it to an end
