What Your Child Needs to Bring to School

Proper size bag or backpack for completed projects and papers
Snack and filled water bottle
Rubber soled shoes, preferably sneakers
Extra pair of pants, shirt, socks, and underwear, to be stored at school
Please label children’s belongings to ensure their return.

Full Day students only

Full-day students (beach towel)
Lunch, if they are full day and they are not ordering lunch from SPS Food Service

Mini and rolling backpacks-- must be large enough to hold a folder & lunchbox and fit into a locker

Clothing your child cannot change themselves (ex. overalls, belts, rompers)

All Jones students will receive a Home to School Folder.

Please check your child’s folder each afternoon.

Breakfast/Snacks/lunch Updated

Lunch & Snack from home

Your child’s snack and lunch time will be determined by their classroom schedule.

Please send food options that do not need to be heated or refrigerated
Please send healthy, preferred, familiar options
No soda or candy
No glass containers

School provided Breakfast and lunch options: School does not provided snacks.

This year both breakfast and lunch will be provided free of charge.

In order for your child to receive their breakfast and lunch families must return the Breakfast/Lunch Menu Form.

The form will be sent home every other week, in yours child’s Home to School folder for you to plan your child’s options two weeks in advance.
