Product Mission

Design and execute the optimal product roadmap for achieving the mission and goals of the ShapeShift DAO.

1. Curate and propose a product roadmap based on research, user feedback and behavior, and informed vision that aligns with the mission and goals of the ShapeShift DAO

​

• Provide feature specifications (including goals and success metrics), UI/UX designs, project management, and applicable front-end development for all features prioritized by the ShapeShift DAO

​

• Represent the ShapeShift DAO’s product suite, roadmap, and workstream and act as a repository of knowledge

​

• Ensure the delivery of prioritized features on time, under budget, and according to the acceptance criteria defined in each feature spec

​

• Assist with one-off community projects as needed, and make sure all projects executed by the workstream and outside the workstream are on brand and pass usability

1. Define and propose a roadmap that is accepted and funded by the community

• Features on the roadmap are delivered on time, on or under budget, and according to the acceptance criteria defined in each feature spec

• The KPIs specified in each feature are tracked and reported to the community

UX and Design in the Workstream

• Responsible for the end-to-end design of ShapeShift’s products on web and mobile.

• Continue to push ShapeShift’s user experience into the realm of “easy” and bring defi to the masses.

• Embrace Design Thinking methodologies—leading with empathy for our users

• Deliver experiences that delight our users and measurably move the business forward

Responsibilities in the DAO

• Discovery & UX research

• UX & UI for the web app and mobile apps

• Wireframing

• User flows

• Prototypes

• Usability testing

• Design

• UX & UI for the .com website *formerly under marketing

• UX copywriting

• Set and track KPIs, metrics

• Front End Development

• Set and maintain brand standards ensure they are upheld by all new projects

• Primary projects will be those determined by the product roadmap

​

Roadmap to be proposed and voted on by the community

​

• Ongoing projects like .com maintenance and others as shown in the previous slide

Stand alone projects approved �by the community

​

UX & design team will help however they can to ensure �success of these projects

​

• Assist and/or help source external designers

​

• Make sure designs are on brand and pass usability before moving into development

​

• Depending on bandwidth, workstream team may be available to execute the design & front-end work for these projects
