California, known as the Golden State, has several symbols that represent its rich history and natural beauty. The California poppy, with its vibrant orange petals, is the state flower, while the California grizzly bear stands as the state animal, symbolizing strength and independence. The iconic Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco is the state's most famous bridge, and the valley oak tree, found throughout the state, is the official state tree. These symbols reflect the diverse and unique aspects of California's culture and landscape, making them a source of pride for its residents.
