How it works

-Users download the app.

-A worldwide app, so anyone anywhere can access help when they need it.

-When a user senses danger around them, they can open them open which will open up to a big button that’s labelled “I’m in danger!’

-This press of the button will then signal a loud blare to sound from the user’s device, and also the devices of those nearby, pinpoint the location where the button was pressed ,and send this location to nearby devices, so others who are in the area can rush to help the endangered.

I’M IN DANGER!

In Conclusion

  • This app can be used to help stop crime and tragedies before they happen, and prevent policing negligence.
  • Allows for more accuracy when it comes to filing police reports, and for arrests; and for civilians to be able to intervene and stop crime in their own neighborhoods.
  • All crimes would actually get reported, they’d be accurate, and justice would be given where it’s due
  • Pew research.org says that “...Most Violent and property crimes in the U.S. go unsolved…” (Gramlich, 2017)
  • A “...2012 BJS study found that a victim of a violent crime might choose not to report it to police for a variety of reasons…”
  • An app like this can give victims of violent crimes like these have hope and feel like they can get justice or ultimately avoid tragedy altogether
