This is a single-session PD where a District Public facilitator will walk your staff through our analysis of one or more of your exams (e.g. Regents, Gr. 3-8 state exam, mock exam) and facilitate the development of concrete “next steps”.

Review your packets and discuss the following questions:

Page 1: On which sections of the test do your students succeed, and on which sections do they struggle?

Page 2: Which standards are most heavily tested? How did your students do on those standards?

Page 3: Which subgroups of students are struggling?

Page 5: Which MC questions were most challenging? (Look at comparison to city averages). What does this question require students to know/do?

Page 5: Which CR questions were most challenging? Which questions/types of questions resulted in large % of students earning a “0”? What does this question require students to know/do?
