  • Geometry & Construction is new next year!

  • Your math teacher needs to sign your registration form next to the appropriate math class for next year. We will honor your math teacher’s recommendation.
  • If you earn a D or an F in 2nd semester in math, you will not be promoted to the next level of math 😞

THINGS TO KNOW

SCIENCE

  • Biology and Earth Systems Science are prerequisites for all upper level sciences. Most students start with Biology in 9th grade
  • Some students take Biology (or Pre AP Biology) concurrently with Earth Systems Science in 9th grade.
  • This allows for student to take upper level sciences like Chemistry starting in 10th grade, provided they meet the math requirements.

Q&A NIGHT

WEDNESDAY, 2/19/2020, 6PM @ FRHS

  • This is the best opportunity to get questions answered!
          • Counselors don’t always have the ability to rapidly respond to the high volume of calls, emails, and appointment requests at this time of year. So please be patient with us 😅
  • This presentation is available online if you need. www.frhscounseling.org

SCHEDULE CHANGES?

These choices are very important and will determine your entire 9th grade year. Once you have turned in your form, you will not be able to make changes to your selections.

  • Students will receive schedules by August check-in.
  • Repairs (mistakes or academically driven changes)

We want to address these as a first priority. Schedule repair forms will be available during August check-in. No need to wait in line. Let us know right away.

  • Change of mind or trying to move to another period (not recommended)

Students will have the ability to make limited, space available changes during our add/drop session in August (date TBD). This usually takes a couple hours and may be crowded. Students are advised to enjoy their schedule, as it was built to accommodate their exact course selections.
