  • Creating involves:
    • Setting goals
    • Developing different activities
    • Materials Needed
  • Importance: helps maintain a standard teaching pattern and doesn’t let the class become distracted

  • You and your team are in charge of teaching elementary school students on how to be a respectful and effective employee in the workforce.
  • 5-7 minute lesson
  • You’ll put in a group and given a skill

  • Use the Engineering Design Process Loop to figure out what problems occur for your specific employability skill
    • Ex.: Social skills-some students have trouble making eye contact
  • Fill out the Progress Journal as you are researching

  • From there, create and put together a mini lesson plan on how you are going to teach the skill.
    • Follow the lesson plan structure that is given
  • You and your team will get to present the lesson to middle school students!
