Introduction

The following maximum 7+1 slides with figures are free for you to put what you wish

Essentially they resemble the guideline of 7 figures to be put in a poster,

such that you can put one figure per slide

Content slides for figures (1)

Text: Use a minimum font size of 18

We recommend to add at least one line of text with a take-home-message

More text to the side or below helps the reader when you are not able to present your poster. It is up virtually for 72 hours, so this can be important to understand your work outside your 2-hour poster session.

Add that text in the slide; speaker notes below are not visible!

Content slide 2

e.g, Methods and setup

You can add movies, which will need to be embedded into Google Slides via YouTube.

In order to embed any video on your slide:

  • Upload it onto your personal Google Drive
  • Go to your Google Slides presentation and select the "Insert" tab top left of the window
  • A ribbon appears where you see "Video", click this and a pop-up window will appear
  • Select "Google Drive" at the top of the pop-up window, you should now be able to see all the videos you have ever uploaded onto Google Drive, the most recent are at the top
  • Double-click on the video you want to upload. Now you only need to edit its place on the slide as you would do for an image

If you prefer us to upload your presentations/movies, please send the ppt or keynote plus separate movie files with slide number in their file name to geomod2021@uu.nl

Be aware that their content is available to everyone within GeoMod, as we will give any with this link permission to view your video.
