STEP 1: �Referrals as Information and Reflection
UDL Strategies listed in order to have preliminary conversations and offer extensions of strategies.
This helps teachers identify what discipline specifically they are looking for, or if it is ELL support or UDL that is best suited to the student

We are beginning to practice Neuro – affirming language by modeling it in our communications to staff.
Step 3: Build Case Loads and Groups from Caseloads
Our OT, SLP, and EBS we have created commonalities of skills and goals students have. Then we have grouped them accordingly. We have looked at what resources and programming most appropriately fits those goals.

Exciting News to share..... my new classroom (Room 146) is up and running and functional and not just for recess and lunch breaks! With the support of the MDT team we will start having small group of students needing supports at different times throughout the day starting in the coming weeks. (We will reach out if and when some of your students will be coming our way with a day and time).
The best part is the name of our classroom: TARGETED LEARNING CLASSROOM (TLC)!
