What is Self Care?

The National Institute of Mental Health describes self-care as “taking the time to do things that help you live well and improve both your physical health and mental health.”

Did you know?

Trying to balance academic and social emotional learning, takes a tremendous amount of energy.

Summer is your chance to restore your energy so that you can return to School refreshed and ready to start your next year.

Review Your Grad Reqs

  • Log into Focus
  • Click on “Grad Reqs” on the left side
  • Take a look at your credits and what you have and have not completed
  • Classes in green means you passed, yellow means in progress, red means you did not receive that credit.
  • Take a look at classes you may need to take or classes that you may need to recover.
  • For example: “I have a red World history Q2, I will need to do credit recovery” or “I have not taken fitness for life yet, maybe I could sign up to take the online class”

Summer Credit Recovery and Online Options

Summer Credit Recovery

  • Students will have the opportunity to make up credit over the summer.
  • Junes 8th- June 26th Monday thru Friday
  • Signs up May 4th-29th
  • Must have 80% attendance beginning May 4th
  • You must come in at minimum 3 hours a day
  • Credit recovery is attended in person
  • Must attend 8-11am or 11am-2pm

Online Options

  • Sign ups begin April 13th
  • See School Counselor for Online Course form
  • Parents will be emailed a commitment Google form
  • Classes begin in June and must be completed by July 17th

Summer Drivers Ed

  • June 8th-July 3rd Monday thru Friday
  • Sign up at the fines and fee window
  • Cost 195$
  • Must have drivers Permit and be 16 by October 30th, 2026
