GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Most students will take English, Math, Science, and Social Studies every year as well as a language if the credit has not yet been satisfied or if they choose to continue to the next level.

  • 9th and 10th graders will take physical education and health, unless a student is in a specialized program that impacts scheduling options.

  • English learners and students in the special education program should pay careful attention to the headings in the course selection program on PowerSchool in order to choose the most appropriate class.

  • Please refer to the “Cheat Sheet for Picking Classes” for additional guidance related to course sequencing, study halls, and more: Cheat Sheet for Picking Classes

  • Please also check out the Course Selection book for more detailed information about the courses being offered: Program of studies2026-2027
