Goals for 2022-23 School Year

  1. Consistently be on time and ready to learn at high levels each day. (Every student to miss 9 or fewer days over the school year)
  2. Read 25,000 books as a school! Each book read goes into a drawing for a brand-new bike to be given away in May at a special assembly! One boy and one girl from each grade will win a bike from the drawing, along with one overall winner who is the most improved reader over the year. ADDITIONALLY - if we reach the goal of 25,000 books read, the top three readers in each class will get to turn Dr. Yost into an ice-cream sundae!!!
  3. Do or Say something KIND each day to help make another person’s day AWESOME!
  4. 100% attendance at all 3 parent teacher conferences (SEPs) / Parents In Education (P.I.E.) Nights, & have parents attend Back to School night!

Volunteers Welcome and Encouraged!

At Diamond Valley, our vision is:

“In partnership with family and community, we encourage and guide all learners to actively develop meaningful academic, social, and emotional skills for lifelong success.”

As you can see, we value a strong, committed partnership with family and community, and this is often done through volunteers serving in the school.

Please visit with your child(ren)’s teacher(s) and arrange a regular, consistent time that you can volunteer to help in the classroom! Then, check in at the office and our secretaires will give you a visitor badge that will allow you to come into the rest of the school to volunteer.

Thank you for your partnership! Your efforts do make a difference!
