How Much is Enough?
Protect your kids from men like Irvin. This is all a show. Irving has 'practiced' mimicking a good person. It's not in his heart. If it were, then killing another person would have never been an option.
He took someone's life: why was he ever paroled? The person whose life he took was not there for his own family. It seems like this man is sorry for what he did, but he still made the choice to take that life.
I became a cop in LA back in the 80s. These students have no idea how evil some people are. I've seen it. Pure evil and plenty of it. Acts so vile, I couldn't list them on YouTube. You can't rehab them.
I was a parole and probation agent for about 7 years at a Midwestern state. He is a typical offender. He made a really stupid choice and in doing so he ruined not just his life. He ruined his victim's life and the victims family and his own family as well. He is now doing something more worthwhile and hopefully he has helped the family of his victim at some level. Restorative justice can be an amazing thing for victims and offenders.
