MALAMA ‘EPEKEMA PROJECT �(“TAKING CARE OF SCIENCE”) Flyer

This program is designed to implement a teacher incentive model in an effort to acheive three GOALS:

To improve the completition of required paperwork including a research plan.
To increase participation at the Kaua'i Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
To improve on the quality of projects as a result of project design review.

MALAMA ‘EPEKEMA

10 teachers, 5 projects, complete all forms and research plan in MySciFair by Wednesday, November 26, 2025.

The research plans will be reviewed by one of our 70+ STEM volunteers for feedback.

10 teachers receive a $300* stipend before Friday, December 12, 2025.

*Please note: the $300 is the target for this year. We know that we can at LEAST compensate at a $100 level because of a donation already made to this program.
