Player Evaluation Process (Grades 5-8)
Evaluations depend on the number of participants. The Board reserves the right to determine, on a grade-by-grade basis, whether evaluations will be held if numbers are low.
Evaluations will be conducted by an outside third party and assisted by the SRR varsity coaching staff.
Attendance:
All players are expected to attend their assigned evaluation session. Players who cannot attend will be placed by the board according to last years coaches evaluations and last years tryout scores.
Players unable to attend due to illness or injury should contact the President at srrybo47@gmail.com.

We Hear You
Your feedback matters!
The board has been working on improvements we hope you’ve noticed.
1. Communication –

Handbook:
We Hear You
2. Opportunities – We have been posting extra basketball opportunities around the area on our
website to keep families in the loop.
3. Tryouts/Evaluations – We’ve hired a new party to run tryouts this year, with support from
the varsity staff as needed. Just a reminder that coaches do not choose their own teams.
Change takes time and teamwork. We’d love to see you at our monthly board meetings, and if you suggest a change, we encourage you to be part of making it happen.
Thank you for joining us!
