• Each week you will find your learning assignments all together in Google Slides. This will be posted by week on the Distance Learning Website.�https://sites.google.com/leanderisd.org/dce-remote-learning/4th
• You will need to complete all required assignments! If you would like more things to do, you may complete the extra activities for each subject. Please put your best effort into each assignment.
• You can find the Google Documents to complete each assignment in Google Classroom. ALL ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN THROUGH GOOGLE CLASSROOM. Please do not send assignments in separate documents through email or sharing documents with your teacher.
• PLEASE LOG INTO LAUNCH PAD AND GOOGLE CHROME BEFORE CLICKING ON LINKS so you are already logged in to what you will need.

• Challenge Board Activity: pick one to work on for the week
• Activity of the Day: each weekday there is a new activity
• How Close to 100?: family game to practice multiplication facts.
• Virtual Dice if you need some to play
• 2-Digit Multiplication 4 in a Row Game: find a partner and play!
• Target 2: This game is like Target 1,000 but you use Fractions to get closest to 2 instead of 1,000.

Social Studies Requirements for May 4-May 8

Learning Target: I will learn about changes in Texas following WWII, the industries that began to flourish, and three elected representatives who made significant contributions to our state during that time.

The impact of advances in aerospace, computer technology, medicine, communications, and the oil and gas industry on life in Texas, and some of the ways people earn their living here, will be the focus of this unit. Additionally, the accomplishments of three notable Texans will be identified during this week of study.

​

Weathering is the process by which rocks break down over time. All rocks weather, however, not necessarily at the same rate or in the same manner. The composition and location of the rocks are factors which affect the rate and way in which the rocks weather. Water, wind, and ice can cause physical weathering to occur.
