About this Journal

ChemJMold is a comprehensive, peer-reviewed journal that seeks to publish original experimental or theoretical research results of outstanding significance and timeliness in all fields of Chemistry, including Industrial and Ecological Chemistry.

Chemistry Journal of Moldova Editorial Policy are in agreement with COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors https://publicationethics.org/management

  • Editor-in-chief ensures that the ChemJMold Editorial office is handling submissions that are the most efficient and appropriate for the journal by examining:

- submission checklist is complete https://cjm.asm.md/author_instructions;

- manuscript corresponds to journal research topics;

- checking the manuscript for plagiarism;

- evaluation of originality and novelty of the manuscript;

- checking if the manuscript is structured according to the nature of the contribution (Short Communication, �Research Paper or Review Article);

- checking if the manuscript is adjusted to the journal standards according to the instruction for authors and that the language is unambiguous;

- checking if the manuscript does not contain ghost authors and that the citations are provided properly;

  • Editor-in-chief ensures that the peer-reviewing process at the Chemistry Journal of Moldova is following the procedure declared on journal website https://cjm.asm.md/peer-review-process:

- the journal follows the single blind peer-review procedure for all submitted manuscripts;

- reviewers’ names are not disclosed, but their views are forwarded by the Editor to the authors for consideration;

- the anonymity of reviewers allows for objective assessment of the manuscript by reviewers and is also free from any influence by the authors on the reviewers comments.

- each manuscript received for review must be treated as confidential document;

- the reviewers are expert in the field of the manuscript and are not part of the journal’s editorial staff.

- Reviewers provide the recommendation about the manuscript publication; recommendation should be backed with constructive arguments and facts based on the content of the manuscript.

  • The Editors of Chemistry Journal of Moldova publish their works in the Journal, however extra precautions are taken to demonstrate that their position is not exploited or to create an impression of impropriety.
  • The accepted papers are published online as swift as possible and a unique DOI is assigned https://cjm.asm.md/accepted_papers . This ensures the distribution of articles on different databases, online platforms and social media outlets.
