I am just so grateful for all of my co-workers.

People not being on campus made me realize how much I care for them and miss them when they are not here. ‘Today’, several teachers came in and it brought me so much joy to see them and reconnect.

Westmont has the best culture and the best people.We all want to make each other succeed. It starts from the top down. We have a great principal and admin team, fabulous clerical staff, star studded custodial and cafeteria crew… I could go on and on. I wouldn't want to work anywhere else. If I can play a small part in helping our faculty, staff, students and parents during this difficult time, I am content.

One of my teachers is super understanding. She had a one on one with me because no one else was in the tutorial and I asked a lot of dumb questions, but she answered them all and didn't say "we learned this in class why don't you know it". She is very nice.

I got to finally take an art class this year and I am enjoying it a lot.

One of my teachers did a "marvel madness" where we voted on which superheros we liked the best. I thought it was a fun little thing to do right before class. :)

One positive experience that I had was picking up and going through our yearbook goodie bag. It was just a fun thing to do and very thoughtful.

I peer tutor for Mrs. Johnsgard's US History class and I preview her tests and I'm surprised how much I remember from last year and that makes me feel good, also she's really nice and I relate to her.

Mr. Duarte convinced me to run for an ffa officer position, and being an officer changed me for the better.

My English and Gov teachers always make sure that there is a good discussion going in class and I think that is extremely helpful because those teachers (Evans and Buran) are also supportive of everyone's thoughts.

Mr. Mock (APUSH) gives great comments on homework and class assignments and always give us ample opportunities to resubmit with any necessary edits.

Ms. Eilers always makes sure her students understand the content and gives tons of opportunities to ask any clarifying questions. By using Desmos, she makes her lessons interactive and engaging.

Mrs. Fawson is doing very well, handling this situation very well, and tries very hard to make the classes interactive and interesting.

I had fun performing an engineering project creating an earbud case.
