Reminder:

Virtual Learning 2022-23 in Fraser Public Schools

  • Fraser continued our collaboration with a third party company to provide the instruction to our virtual students while we provide a mentor teacher.
  • Utilizing these third party providers was the most cost effective way to engage our virtual students in learning for the 2022-23 school year.

Lincoln Learning Curriculum

  • Students are enrolled in the 4 core areas: ELA, Math, Social Studies, Science
  • Students are enrolled in rotating electives throughout the year: PE, Music, Art
  • Students have multiple ways to access information
    • Videos of lessons

Shout Out to Ms. Dayna Taylor

  • Dayna Taylor is the mentor teacher for all students K-12
  • Meets twice a week for SEL check-ins with all students
  • Meets as needed with students and families for support
  • Monitors their progress and work submission in both platforms
  • Facilitates Benchmark and State Testing for all Virtual Students
  • Held a Virtual Back to School Night (orientation) for Elementary and Secondary families, material pick up, and offer virtual conferences for all families.
  • Publishes a weekly newsletter to keep families informed
  • All materials and information are available on the Fraser website.
