Structure of EUS Mental Health & Wellness

Mental Health Director (Shivam Aery)

  • Information and resource-based role with goal of improving knowledge regarding mental health resources
  • Liaison with MESC, faculty members, and the LWA to work on new initiatives and improve the faculty’s understanding of student mental health and wellness needs
  • Works closely with the Mental Wellness Chair, the Equity Commissioners, and the E&M reps

Why did I want to do this role?

  • I wanted the role of mental health director in order to promote awareness on mental health

What is my mandate?

  • Spread mental health resources, and work with the faculty, MESC, and Virginie (our LWA) to work on new mental health initiatives
