EVAPORATION 3
WATERS ARE THE WORD OF GOD

Saturation w the Word condenses into a burden of the Holy Spirit.
Powerful – capacity to act
potency to produce
ability to cope

Mist & Drizzle
Minimal precipitation because minimal evaporation/condensation
Snow & sleet & hail is the Word of God coming through a cold personality
This woman just sat through one of your sermons!
Thunder
When air is crossed by a spark of lightning it becomes superheated & rolls into thunder
But all thunder, all stern warning makes for legalism
Lightning - momentary glimpse of far horizons - faith is stretched & desire is stirred - deep insight & vision
All lightning makes for mysticism/ emotionalism
Persistent, moderate rain can drop five inches in 24 hours - thunderstorms
in 20 minutes
Torrential rain
Some clouds dump water w/o display of thunder and lightning – boring
I’ll forgive a preacher almost anything if he leaves me w a sense of God.

For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do. Hebrews 4:12-13
