Let's get started - First you need data (information for your map)

Here are a few options that may suit your needs:

  • Visit the Public Map website where there is a variety of resources and activities that you can follow independently to assist with collecting data for your digital Map
  • Book a community mapper to deliver workshops that focus on your desired outcome, you may already have data you want to map
  • Collect data independently using your existing knowledge and skills
  • You may already have your data ready to begin however it is possible to complete your digital Map as you collect the data and have a constantly evolving ‘living map’.

(An adult may already have data for you to use)

There are lots of ways of collecting data for a digital Map.
