This was our first trash picking activity. A lot of students showed up. We met at the Weston clubhouse, and then we went outside of the neighborhood to find a lot of trash hidden behind the giant rocks.
Shakerag Park
Our 2nd activity was at Shakerag Park. We found a trail and started walking. There wasn’t was much trash as Peachtree Parkway, but we still got a break from screens and had a nice walk.
Johns Creek City Park
Our 3rd activity was at Johns Creek City Park. This park is near the Lifetime Fitness in Johns Creek. We learned that even with two students, we still can have perseverance and keep picking up trash. We also practiced socializing skills.
Johns Creek Technology Circle
Our last activity of the summer ended up in Johns Creek again. We always find tons of trash in this area, especially on the weekends. We contributed to cleaning the environment, and we had a fun time talking.

Warning: DO NOT complain if the chart is too small or too unorganized because i spend a whole hour on this. A whole freaking hour gone working on this dysfunctional chart while you might have been watching videos, playing games or reading a book. YOu spent that time by doing pleasurable things. I DID NOT. So, DO NOT insult this chart.

Plans for this fall
Any ideas? (Pool party, zipline, rafting, boating, etc.)
Plans for this fall
We are thinking about starting a campaign asking people to stop littering. We cannot just keep picking up trash because we need to address the problem where it begins. If you have ideas for the campaign, please let us know. Thank you!
