  • The tread is made of small triangular pieces. 75% of the pieces are metal and 25% of pieces are plastic due to shortage of metal. The tread pattern is taken from the perseverance rover.

  • The wheel cap is made of concrete to ensure that it does not collapse. It is also completely closed so that stones do not get stuck inside and slow it down. Strong concrete ensures the durability on the wheel.

MARTIO

This is Martio, A multi-functional device used as an tool to regulate the habitat under your control.

You can tap on the GREEN button to bring up the regulatory system of the mars habitat/base. The RED button starts to scan the suface using the hook-like structure on top of the tool, double tap the RED button to enable temperature scanning. The BLUE button connects to the radio network and holographic view of the Earth’s control room.

It has built-in features like ground scanning, active seismic wave detection, weather updates, temperature detection, rover tracking, solar panel charging and fall detection. It is a heat protective model and has a 5’6 inch display.

This device/tool makes the habitat on Mars more controllable and can access information that was available to us before, as you have all the details you want, under a device.
